Home Insurance Discount – Proof of Activation – Phyn Smart Water Assistant

Some home insurance companies offer discounts when you install a whole-home leak detection system like the Phyn Smart Water Assistant.

You can generate a Proof of Installation Certificate directly from the Phyn app to share with your insurance provider.

How to Generate Your Proof of Activation Certificate

1. Open the Phyn app on your phone.

2. Tap Menu in the upper left-hand corner.

3. Tap Settings.

4. Tap Home Insurance Discount.

5. Enter the name of your insurance company, or select a listed Phyn insurance partner.

The app will search a list of pre-populated insurance company names.

If your insurance company does not appear, you can manually enter the company name. The name you enter will appear on your certificate.

6. Tap Next.

7. Tap Email Certificate.

Your phone’s default email app (such as Gmail or Outlook) will open with a PDF copy of the Proof of Activation Certificate attached.

8. Enter your email address and/or your insurance agent’s email address.

9. Tap Send.

Your certificate will be delivered as a PDF attachment.
