Some Home Insurance companies offer discounts to customers who install a whole home leak detection system like the Phyn Smart Water Sensor. Phyn makes it easy for you to generate a "Proof of Installation Certificate" in the Phyn App. Here's how:

  1. Launch the Phyn App on your phone
  2. Tap the Menu icon in the upper left-hand corner of the Phyn App
  3. Tap Settings > Home Insurance Discount
  4. You can either enter the name of the Insurance company or you can click on the name of the Phyn Insurance Partner
  5. The Phyn App will search pre-populated Insurance Company names
    • If the name of your Insurance company does not appear, you can still enter the name of your Home Insurance Company
    • The name you enter will be populated to the Proof of Activation Certificate
  6. After entering the Insurance company name, tap Next
  7. Tap Email Certificate
  8. Your phone's default email application, i.e. Gmail, Outlook, etc., will open. The email will have a PDF copy of the Proof of Activation Certificate as an attachment.
  9. Add your email address and/or the email address of your Home Insurance agent
  10. Tap Send
