Some home insurance companies offer discounts when you install a leak detection system like the Phyn Smart Water Sensor.
The Phyn app allows you to generate a Proof of Activation Certificate that you can share with your insurance provider.
How to Generate Your Proof of Activation Certificate
Launch the Phyn App on your phone.
Tap the Menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
Tap Settings > Home Insurance Discount.
Enter the name of your insurance company, or select one from the list of available insurance partners.
The app will search pre-populated insurance company names as you type. If your insurance company does not appear, you can manually enter the name. The name you enter will be displayed on the certificate.
Tap Next.
Tap Email Certificate.
Your phone’s default email application (such as Gmail or Outlook) will open with a PDF copy of the Proof of Activation Certificate attached.
Enter your email address and/or your insurance agent’s email address.
Tap Send.
Your insurance provider can use this certificate as proof that your Smart Water Sensor has been activated.
