You can increase your Phyn Smart Water Sensor Battery Life by reducing how often Temperature and Humidity Settings are sent to the App. You can set the frequency to 3 times a day, once a day or once a week. No matter which setting you choose, you’ll still receive alerts immediately if there is an issue.
To change the Battery Life setting for your Sensor follow these steps:
- Launch the Phyn App
- Tap Menu
- Tap Settings
- Tap Devices
- Tap on the name of the Phyn Smart Water Sensor for which you wish to change the Battery Life setting
- Tap Battery Life
- Select – Low Power Mode = every 72 hours update – Estimated 2-year Battery Life
- Select – Occasional Update Mode = every 24 hours update – Estimated 2-year Battery Life
- Select – Frequent Update Mode = every 8 hours update – Estimated 1-year Battery Life
- Tap Save
- This message will appear: “Settings will be updated within 24 hours. To save Battery your new Settings will be applied within the next 24 hours.
- If you wish to change them immediately, push the button on the side of the device. You will hear 3 beeps, the Phyn Logo will flash green and you will receive a notification.
