Follow these steps to run a Plumbing Check in the Phyn app:
Locate your home’s main water shutoff valve.
Turn off the water to your home.
Open the Phyn app.
Tap Run a Plumbing Check.
The app will notify you when the Plumbing Check is complete and it is safe to turn your water back on.
Important
Do not run any water during the test. Using water while the Plumbing Check is in progress may cause the test to fail or generate a false alert.
Viewing Your Results
You can view past Plumbing Check results in the Plumbing Check section of the app.
If a leak is detected, you will receive an alert.
Leak-related Plumbing Check results will also appear in the Alerts section of the app.
