During the device setup you will be prompted to test the Phyn Smart Sensor to ensure that it is properly connected and online.
Note: If the test fails in the app, you can always select "Skip test" to continue with device setup. The test can be performed anytime not just during device setup.

- Press and release the button on the side of the Water Sensor.
- The Phyn Logo will flash blue several times followed by a green flash and three sensor beeps.

- In the Phyn App > Menu > Smart Water Sensors > Sensor Name > Last Updated - will show i.e. ""Today at 1:59pm"".
Troubleshooting:

- Press and release the button on the side of the Water Sensor.
- The Phyn Logo will flash blue several times followed by a green flash and three sensor beeps.

If you continue to experience issues check the following:
- Check battery strength in the Phyn App - (Menu > Settings > Device > Sensor > Battery Level)
- The Battery level will appear as Good (100% - 26%) and Low (25% or lower).

- The Battery Level indicator will also have a color next to the indicator, i.e. Good with a green dot and Low with a red dot.
- If battery level is low, replace the batteries as soon as possible with new batteries
- Perform another test
If the tests continue to fail, check the following:
- Check in the Phyn App that the Sensor appears in the Device list - if it does not, it will need to be paired to your network
