What does it mean?
Your Phyn Water Sensor checks every hour for changes in humidity. You received the alert because the sensor detected humidity above the xx% threshold you set.
Humidity levels over 60% can create mildew, which can lead to health issues. In winter, you may want to maintain lower humidity to prevent these issues.
What can I do?
Depending on what is causing the humidity, you may want to consider installing an exhaust fan. This can help address recurring humidity caused by activities like showering or running a dishwasher.
Indoor plants can also regulate your home’s humidity.
For a temporary solution, you can turn on central A/C to reduce humidity. In the winter this might not be a feasible option, in which case a dehumidifier is a better long term solution.
Or, if you prefer, you can change your humidity alert settings.
