I got a “Low Humidity Alert” from my Phyn Smart Water Sensor. What does that mean and what should I do?

What does it mean?

Your Phyn Water Sensor checks every hour for changes in humidity. You received the alert because the sensor detected Humidity below the xx% threshold you set.

What can I do?

In winter, a common cause of low humidity is the heater.

• An easy solution to low humidity is to use a spray bottle to put water back into the air. You can also hang damp towels.
• Indoor plants can also help regulate your home’s humidity.
• You can also run humidifiers to provide a more constant source of humidity.
