Home with Phyn Smart Water Sensors only
What does it mean?
When your Smart Water Sensor detects water, you will receive the following alert:
"Phyn Alert for Sensor: dishwasher at Home 1: Water detected today at 04:39 PM PDT".
What can I do?
Locate the Smart Water Sensor in your home. The sensor will be beeping on and off and blinking red in color.
Check for water or moisture in the area where the Smart Water Sensor is located. Once you have identified the source of the water or moisture, take the necessary steps to stop the leak if one is present. For toilets or sinks, you may need to turn off the water at the fixture shutoff valve. You may to contact a plumber for assistance.
When you have stopped the source of the water or moisture, with a towel, clean off the bottom of the Sensor and if attached, Sensor Cable(s) and/or Sensor Extension node. Replace the Sensor in it's original location after ensuring the location is free from moisture or water.
To silence the beep and blinking red light, eliminate the presence of moisture. The LED will continue to blink red as long as the Sensor detects water or moisture.
Home with Phyn Plus and Phyn Smart Water Sensors - With Auto Shutoff Enabled for the Sensor and the Phyn Plus
What does it mean?
"Phyn Alert for Sensor: dishwasher at Home 1: Water detected today at 04:44 PM PDT. Your water was turned off".
What can I do?
Locate the Smart Water Sensor in your home. The sensor will be beeping on and off and blinking red in color.
Check for water or moisture in the area where the Smart Water Sensor is located. Once you have identified the source of the water or moisture, take the necessary steps to stop the leak if one is present. For toilets or sinks, you may need to turn off the water at the fixture shutoff valve. You may to contact a plumber for assistance.

Navigate in the Phyn App to turn the water back on.
