To successfully pair and configure your Phyn Smart Water Sensor, the following requirements must be met.
Wi-Fi Requirements
A dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
WPA2-Personal encryption or higher
Broadband internet connectivity
Reliable Wi-Fi signal available at the location where the Sensor will be installed
The Sensor does not support 5 GHz-only networks.
Mobile Device Requirements
You will need one of the following:
An Android smartphone or tablet currently supported by the manufacturer, running the current version of Android or one of the two previous versions
An iPhone currently supported by Apple
An iOS tablet running the current version of iOS or the previous version
The device must:
Have access to cellular data or internet connectivity
Be able to download and run the Phyn app
If you are using a tablet without cellular capability, you may use a standard mobile phone that can receive SMS messages for account verification.
