The Phyn Smart Water Sensor does not support connections to Wi-Fi routers that are configured as an open network or that use the following wireless security profiles:
Open network – No network security
WPA (any version)
WPA Personal (any version), also known as WPA Pre-Shared Key or PSK Personal
WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
WPA2-PSK (TKIP) – WPA2-PSK with AES encryption is supported
WPA2 Enterprise
WPA3 (any version)
To ensure compatibility and reliable operation, your Wi-Fi network should be configured using a supported security profile, such as WPA2 Personal with AES encryption.
