What does it mean?
Your Phyn Smart Water Sensor has detected a low battery level. When the battery strength reaches 25% or below, a Low Battery Alert is sent.
Example alert message:
“Phyn Alert for Sensor: Dishwasher at Home 1: Low battery detected today at 02:49 PM PDT”
What can I do?
Replace the batteries as soon as possible. The Phyn Smart Water Sensor uses two AA batteries.
To replace the batteries, twist the battery cover counterclockwise until the dots align, then remove the cover and install new batteries.
After replacing the batteries, you will receive a confirmation message indicating the issue has been resolved:
“Phyn Alert for Sensor: Dishwasher at Home 1: Resolved, battery level is normal”
If you want to extend battery life going forward, you can adjust the Battery Life setting to report temperature and humidity less frequently.
How do I view battery strength in the Phyn app?
To view battery strength in the Phyn app:
Tap Menu.
Tap Phyn Smart Water Sensors.
Battery status indicators:
Battery level from 100% to 26% appears with a black battery icon
Battery level at 25% or below appears with a red battery icon and triggers a Low Battery Alert
A red battery icon indicates that the batteries should be replaced.
