Using Alexa Voice Commands with Your Phyn Smart Water Sensor

Yes, you can connect your Phyn Smart Water Sensor to Amazon Alexa and use voice commands to check temperature, humidity, and battery level.

Once the Phyn Device Skill is enabled in the Alexa app, you can ask Alexa about any Sensor by using the name you assigned to it in the Phyn app.

For example, if your Sensor is named “Kitchen,” you can say:

  • “Alexa, ask Phyn Device what is the temperature in Kitchen”

  • “Alexa, ask Phyn Device what is the humidity in Kitchen”

  • “Alexa, ask Phyn Device what is the battery level in Kitchen”


How to Connect Your Phyn Smart Water Sensor to Alexa

  1. Download the latest version of the Phyn App from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Log in to your Phyn account.

  3. Tap Menu > Settings > Smart Home Integrations.

  4. Tap Amazon Alexa.

  5. Tap Open Alexa.

If the Alexa app is not installed, you will be prompted to install it.

  1. In the Alexa app, enable the Phyn Device Skill.

  2. Tap Launch.

  3. Select the Amazon device you want to use with the Phyn Device Skill.

Once connected, Alexa will respond with “Welcome to Phyn.”

You can now begin using voice commands to check the status of your Sensor.
