Phyn Plus can be installed indoors or outdoors, and mounted horizontally or vertically.
Installation location requirements
Install Phyn Plus on the main water supply pipe, immediately after the main shutoff valve and before any branches, fixtures, or devices.
Phyn monitors only the plumbing downstream (after) the device.
Pipes, fixtures, irrigation systems, or water softeners upstream (before) the device will not be monitored
Do not install Phyn Plus in any location where it could:
Be submerged in water
Be exposed to direct spray from high-flow irrigation or sprinkler systems
Power and mounting requirements
Phyn Plus must be installed within 11 feet of a 120V electrical outlet.
A GFCI-protected outlet is strongly recommended.
For safety, the device must be mounted so the lowest edge of the enclosure is at least 12 inches above ground level.
