Some home insurance companies offer discounts when you install a whole-home leak detection system like Phyn Plus. To support this, the Phyn app allows you to generate a Proof of Activation Certificate directly from the app.
What the certificate includes
Confirms that a Phyn Plus device is installed and active
Includes the insurance company name you provide
Generates a PDF you can email to yourself or your insurance provider
How to generate a Proof of Activation Certificate
Launch the Phyn app.
Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
Tap Settings > Home Insurance Discount.
Select your insurance company from the list or manually enter the name.
Tap Next.
Tap Email Certificate.
Add your email address and/or your insurance agent’s email address.
Tap Send.
Your phone’s default email app (such as Gmail or Outlook) will open with the Proof of Activation Certificate attached as a PDF.
If your insurance company is not listed, you can still manually enter the name. The name you enter will appear on the certificate.
