How do I activate a replacement device and delete the old device from the Phyn App?

Follow the steps below to activate your replacement device and then remove the old device from the Phyn app.


Activate the replacement device

  1. Launch the Phyn App.

  2. Tap the Menu icon.

  3. At the top of the screen, tap the address and select Add Home.

  4. Tap Set Up a New Home.

  5. On the Set Up Device screen, tap Phyn Plus or Phyn Smart Water Assistant, depending on your replacement device.

  6. Follow the on-screen steps to pair the device to your home Wi-Fi network and complete setup.

Once setup is complete, your replacement device will appear as Online in the app.


Delete the old device from the app

  • Launch the Phyn App

  • Tap the Menu icon

  • At the top of the screen, review the currently selected location

  • If needed, tap Switch Location to view all homes linked to your account

  • The home with the replacement device will show Device Status: Online

  • The home with the old device will show Device Status: Offline

  1. Select the home that shows Device Status: Offline.

  2. Tap Settings > Device.

  3. Tap the Phyn device you want to remove.

  4. Confirm that the device status shows Offline.

  5. Scroll down and tap Delete Home at the bottom of the screen.

The old device and associated home will now be removed from your Phyn account.
