⚠️ Important:
Only perform a factory reset when instructed by Phyn Customer Support. A factory reset will remove:
Wi-Fi settings
Any sensor data that has not yet been uploaded (including water usage data)
Factory reset Phyn Plus
Follow these steps only on devices running the updated firmware.
Make sure the device is powered on.
Locate the blue Action button on the top of the unit.
If installed horizontally, the button is on the side
Press the blue button three times, then press and hold for 5 seconds.
While holding the button, watch the LED display.
You’ll see a pattern that looks like an elevator descending
Release the button once the pattern reaches the bottom
What happens next
The device will reset automatically
The LED will:
Fade blue to black several times
Display a boot-up animation (blue light grows from the bottom to the middle)
Once the reset is complete, Phyn Plus will enter pairing mode.
Confirm pairing mode
The LED will show a “Searching” pattern
Lights move outward from the center as the device looks for Wi-Fi
If you do not see the searching pattern, repeat the reset steps.
