Important: Only perform a factory reset if instructed by Phyn Customer Support. A reset will erase saved Wi-Fi settings and any sensor data that has not yet been uploaded.
How to reset the device
Make sure the device is powered on.
Locate the recessed reset button on the top of the unit.
Insert the tip of a ballpoint pen into the recessed button.
Press and hold for about 8 seconds.
Watch the LED screen:
It will briefly flash blue
A blue “elevator” pattern will move downward on the screen
When the screen flashes blue again, release the button
The device will reset. The LED will fade blue to black several times, then display a startup pattern as it reboots.
After the reset
Once the reset is complete, the Phyn Smart Water Assistant will enter pairing mode. You’ll see blue bars extending outward from the center of the LED display, indicating it’s ready to be set up again.
