Last updated on 30 Jan, 2026

If you are prompted to enter your username and password every time you open the Phyn App on a Samsung, Pixel, or Lenovo Android phone, required app permissions or stored app data may not be set correctly. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Step 1: Verify app permissions.

  1. Ensure the Phyn App is not running.

  2. Open Settings on your phone.

  3. Tap Apps.

  4. Select Phyn.

  5. Tap Permissions.

  6. Enable the following permissions:

    • Location

    • Phone

    • Storage

  7. Tap the Back button to save your changes.

Step 2: Clear app cache and storage.

  1. From Settings > Apps > Phyn, tap Storage.

  2. Tap Clear Cache.

  3. Tap Clear Storage.

  4. Tap the Back button to save your changes.

Step 3: Log back in.

  1. Launch the Phyn App.

  2. Enter your username and password to log in.

  3. After logging in successfully, close the Phyn App.

  4. Launch the Phyn App again.

You should no longer be prompted to enter your login credentials each time you open the app.
