If you have already added 9 Phyn Smart Water Sensors to the Home in your Phyn app, and you attempt to add another Sensor in the Phyn App, you will see an error message:
Max Devices Added
"You have added the maximum number of devices to this home. To add additional sensors set up the new sensor as a new home in the Phyn App or remove an existing Sensor from the home that has 9 sensors configured".
How many Smart Water Sensors can be added?
The maximum amount of Phyn Smart Water Sensors you can add, depends on which types of Phyn devices you have in each home. Refer to the information below for the maximum amount of sensors that can be added:
Home with Phyn Plus & Sensors
- 9 Phyn Smart Water sensors maximum can be added
- 9 Phyn Smart Water sensors can control Auto Shutoff of the Phyn Plus
- If you wish to add additional Sensors to your home, you can tap ""Add Home"" in the Phyn App, create a new Home with your same Address, name the home i.e. ""Upstairs Sensors"" and add additional sensors.
- Note: Any additional Sensors in a home with a Phyn Plus that already has 9 Sensors with auto-shutoff enabled cannot control Auto Shutoff.
Home with Phyn Smart Water Assistant & Sensors
- 9 Phyn Smart Water sensors maximum can be added
- If you wish to add additional Sensors to your home, you can tap ""Add Home"" in the Phyn App, create a new Home with your same Address, name the home i.e. ""Upstairs Sensors"" and add additional sensors.
Home with Phyn Smart Water Sensors ONLY
- If you do not have a Phyn Plus or a Phyn Smart Water Assistant and own a large multi-level home, you can create up to 6 virtual ""Homes"" in the Phyn App for your Smart Water Sensors
- Create a virtual ""Home"" in the Phyn App for each floor in the home
- Give each floor a different name, i.e. Basement, First Floor, Second Floor, Third Floor, Fifth floor, Attic.
- To each floor, you can add 9 Phyn Smart Water Sensors maximum
- 9 x 6 floors = 54 total Phyn Smart Water Sensors
