If you are unable to complete the Account Sign Up process because the Phyn App displays "This email is already in use", it is an indication that the account failed to display the step to authenticate the 6-digit verification code that was sent as an SMS message to the phone. This could occur if you tapped Create and received a verification code and failed to enter it on the App. The email address does exist, but it is in an "unconfirmed" state since it never went through the step to input the 6-digit verification code. To resolve, follow these steps.
- Force close the Phyn App
- Launch the Phyn App
- Tap Login
- Enter the email address and the password you selected
- You will be at the Account Verification screen
- Wait for another SMS message to be sent with a new 6-digit code. (Do not enter the first 6-digit code or it will fail authentication)
- Enter the new 6-digit code sent to you
- Proceed with the steps to setup your Phyn Account
