If the Phyn app shows “Water is Partially On” after initial device pairing or after attempting to turn the shutoff valve on or off, follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Power cycle the Phyn Plus
Unplug the Phyn Plus from the electrical outlet.
Wait 10 seconds.
Plug the Phyn Plus back into the electrical outlet.
Relaunch the Phyn app.
Check whether “Water is On” is now displayed.
If the app still shows “Water is Partially On”, continue with the steps below.
Step 2: Check the Phyn device LED behavior
Locate the blue button on the Phyn Plus.
Lightly tap the blue button once.
Observe the LED display and note the pattern shown.
If you see the following LED pattern, contact Phyn Customer Support for assistance:
A blue water flow pattern with a red diagonal slash in the middle
The red slash grows and then decreases in intensity
This LED pattern indicates that the shutoff valve is not fully opening or closing and may require further support to resolve.
