To set up Phyn Plus, make sure your home or business meets the following requirements:
Home & Plumbing
A single-family home or business with an individual water meter
Professional installation by a licensed plumber or a member of the Uponor Pro Squad
Power
A nearby electrical outlet:
1st Generation: within 15 feet
2nd Generation: within 11 feet
A GFCI-equipped outlet is recommended
Phyn Plus includes a power cord:
15 ft (1st Gen)
11 ft (2nd Gen)
Wi-Fi & Internet
A dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
WPA2-Personal encryption or higher
Broadband internet access
A reliable Wi-Fi signal at the installation location
Mobile Device
One of the following:
Android phone or tablet supported by the manufacturer, running the current or previous two Android versions
iPhone or iPad supported by Apple, running the current or previous iOS version
Cellular data access is required during setup
(A basic phone that can receive SMS may be used alongside a tablet.)
