Unable to pair – Incorrect password error

What this means

If you try to pair a Phyn device using an incorrect Wi-Fi password, the app will display the following message:

“Incorrect Password. Please try again.”


How to resolve it

  • Re-enter the correct password for your home Wi-Fi network

  • Make sure you are selecting the correct network name (SSID)

  • Check for common issues such as:

    • Incorrect capitalization

    • Extra spaces at the beginning or end of the password

    • Special characters entered incorrectly

If you did not set up the Wi-Fi network yourself, you may need to contact the person who manages the network to confirm the correct password.

Once the correct password is entered, retry the pairing process.
