What can I do if my angle stops and water hoses are not ⅜”?

Phyn Smart Water Assistant is designed to connect to ⅜” angle stops and ⅜” water supply hoses under a sink. In some homes, the angle stops or hoses may be ½” instead of ⅜”.

If this is the case, you can use adapters to make the connection.

What you’ll need

Purchase the following adapters from a plumbing supply store or hardware store:

1. Two (2) ½” Female (FIP) to ⅜” Male adapters.

2. Two (2) ½” Male (MIP) to ⅜” Female adapters.

How to connect Phyn Smart Water Assistant

1. Connect the ½” to ⅜” adapter to the angle stop.

2. Connect the other adapter to the water supply hose.

3. Connect the Phyn Smart Water Assistant between the angle stop adapter and the water hose adapter.

Once installed, Phyn Smart Water Assistant will function normally using the adapted connections.
