Some angle stops use push-to-connect fittings instead of threaded connections. In these cases, Phyn Smart Water Assistant can still be installed with the correct adapter.
If the push-to-connect fitting is not crimped
If the fitting can be removed, you can install a push-to-connect tee adapter that includes a ⅜” threaded connection for Phyn.
If the push-to-connect fitting is crimped
If the fitting is permanently crimped in place, you will need to modify the water line:
Turn off the water supply.
Cut the water line.
Install a three-way adapter with:
Two push-to-connect ends for the water line.
One ⅜” threaded outlet for the Phyn Smart Water Assistant.
