If you notice that the connection to a sensor is leaking after you install Phyn Smart Water Assistant you must turn off your water from the angle stop, unthread the sensor, being careful to capture any water in the line in a cup or bucket, and rethread the sensor connection, ensuring that it goes on straight and that you have a water-tight seal.

When you are finished turn the water back on, open your faucet and with a dry paper towel test that the connection is not leaking.

Sometimes older rubber gasket/washers in your flexible water hose becomes brittle over time. We recommend that you leave a pan or dry towel under your angle stop valves and check to ensure that your installation is not leaking a few times within the first 12 hours that you have Phyn Smart Water Assistant installed. We will send you an SMS reminder to check on it after installation as well.
