The Phyn Plus requires a broadband Internet connection to operate properly and protect your home.
Your Internet connection must be:
Broadband speed (for example high-speed DSL, fiber, cable, or satellite)
Always on
Available at the location where the Phyn Plus is installed
Not restricted by data caps or data throttling
Data usage and speed requirements
The Phyn Plus uploads approximately 200 MB of data per day, or about 6 GB per month
Phyn recommends an upload speed of 5 Mbps or higher
Unsupported Internet connections
Mobile hotspot connections are not supported
Mobile hotspots are not always on and may fail to reconnect automatically after a power outage, which could leave your home unprotected.
