If your router uses MAC address filtering, you may need the Phyn Plus MAC address to add it to your router’s Allowed list.
For security reasons, the MAC address is not printed on the device itself—only the ESN (Electronic Serial Number) appears on the bottom label.
How you find the MAC address depends on your Phyn Plus generation.
Phyn Plus 1st Generation
Option 1: Check the Homeowner Guide (recommended)
The MAC address is printed on a label attached to the Phyn Plus Homeowner Guide (User Manual).
The guide is included in the blue envelope inside the product box.
If you can’t find the guide
Temporarily disable MAC address filtering on your router.
Complete the Phyn Plus setup and pairing.
After pairing, the MAC address will appear in the Settings section of the Phyn app.
Phyn Plus 2nd Generation
The MAC address is not printed anywhere accessible to the homeowner. You’ll need to contact Phyn Customer Support with one of the identifiers below.
Option 1: Use the Serial Number
The serial number is printed on a label on the bottom of the device.
If you can see it, make a note of the serial number and contact Phyn Customer Support.
Option 2: Scan the QR code
If the device is mounted in a way that blocks the bottom label:
Use the camera on your iPhone or Android phone.
Scan the QR code next to the blue button on the Phyn Plus.
If prompted, allow your phone to search the QR code.
Note the 6-character code shown between “UC:” and the “$” symbol.
Provide either the serial number or QR code to Phyn Customer Support so they can retrieve the MAC address for you.
Helpful notes
MAC address filtering must allow the Phyn Plus to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
If setup is blocked, temporarily disabling MAC filtering is often the fastest solution.
