Phyn can monitor irrigation usage and detect irrigation leaks, but it depends on how your system is plumbed.
Phyn will capture irrigation activity if the irrigation line is installed:
After (downstream of) the Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV)
Branched after the PRV
In these configurations, irrigation water flows through the Phyn device, allowing it to monitor usage and detect potential leaks.
For Homes on Well Water
If your home uses a well system, irrigation must be connected to the same well system and piping configuration as the Phyn device in order to be monitored.
If irrigation is plumbed separately, Phyn will not be able to detect its usage or leaks.
