If you are unable to launch the Phyn App and instead see the error message, "Your phone is offline" at the top of the screen, this is an indication that you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi data connectivity. The Phyn App requires data connectivity to work. Cellular data:
- Verify that you are in an area where you have cellular network connectivity
- Cellular network connectivity can be blocked by steel and concrete
- You may need to move closer to a window in order to improve your cellular signal
- If you are in a roaming area (outside of your normal cellular network coverage area), you may need to enable data roaming on your cell phone to use data. You may need to contact your cellular provider before enabling roaming. Enabling data roaming may incur additional cost to your phone plan.
Wi-Fi data:
- Ensure that you are connected to Wi-Fi
- If connected to Wi-Fi, ensure that your Wi-Fi network has data connectivity
- If you are connected to Wi-Fi, but do not have any data connectivity, your ISP Internet Service Provider may be experiencing an outage
