If you see the message “Your phone is offline” at the top of the Phyn app and the app will not load, this means your phone does not currently have an active internet connection. The Phyn app requires either cellular data or Wi-Fi connectivity to function.
Check cellular data connectivity
If you are using cellular data, confirm the following:
You are in an area with cellular network coverage
Cellular signals can be blocked by steel, concrete, or being underground
Moving closer to a window may improve signal strength
If you are outside your normal coverage area:
You may need to enable data roaming on your phone
Contact your cellular provider before enabling roaming
Data roaming may incur additional charges depending on your plan
Check Wi-Fi connectivity
If you are using Wi-Fi, confirm the following:
Your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network
The Wi-Fi network has active internet access
If you are connected to Wi-Fi but still offline:
Your Internet Service Provider may be experiencing an outage
After connectivity is restored
Confirm your phone has internet access by opening a web page or another app that uses data.
Reopen the Phyn app.
Once your phone is back online, the error message should no longer appear and the app should function normally.
