To install Phyn Plus on ¾ in or 1 in water lines, including PEX plumbing, plumbing unions are required.
Required union type
Phyn Plus requires a 1 in NPSM straight water meter coupling with:
A gasket (required)
A male threaded adapter
Lead-free brass construction
These fittings are commonly labeled as:
1 in NPSM x ¾ in NPT
1 in NPSM x 1 in NPT
Make sure the union includes a gasket before installation.
