To set up your Phyn device, you will need the following information about your home Wi-Fi network. If you are not sure, check with the person who set up your network.
Required Wi-Fi information
Network name (SSID)
This is the name of your Wi-Fi network (for example, “John’s Wi-Fi”).Network password
SSID must be visible
Hidden networks are not supported.2.4 GHz Wi-Fi must be enabled
Phyn devices connect using the 2.4 GHz band.Dedicated 2.4 GHz network required
Mesh or band-steering networks that use a single SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are not supported.

How to check your Wi-Fi security type (Windows)
Make sure your computer is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray.
Select your connected Wi-Fi network.
Click Properties.
Scroll to Security type to view the setting.
