Phyn users can receive email notifications in addition to SMS and push notifications. Follow the steps below based on whether you are an existing or new user.
Existing Users: Set Up Email Notifications
Log in to the Phyn app.
You will land on the Email Notifications screen. Review the information and tap Next.
On the Verify Email screen, choose one of the following options:
Tap Next to send a verification email
Tap Change Email Address to update the email associated with your account
Check your email for a message from Phyn.
If you don’t see it, return to the Phyn app and tap Resend Link
Open the email and tap Verify Email, then return to the Phyn app.
When you see the Email Verification Complete screen, email notifications are enabled.
Tap Done.
To change your email address later, go to Settings > Device > Notifications in the Phyn app.
New Users: Set Up Email Notifications During Setup
As a new user, you can enable email notifications after creating your account and completing device setup.
After setup is complete, tap Explore the App.
On the Turn on Email, Push, and/or SMS Notifications screen, tap Enable.
Follow the prompts until you reach the Verify Email screen.
Tap Next to send a verification email, or tap Change Email Address if needed.
Check your email for the verification message from Phyn.
If you don’t receive it, return to the app and tap Resend Link
Tap Verify Email in the email, then return to the Phyn app.
When the Email Verification Complete screen appears, email notifications are enabled.
Tap Done.
You can update your email address at any time in the Phyn app under Settings > Device > Notifications.
