Should the LED on my Phyn Plus stay illuminated?

No. The LED display on the Phyn Plus is only illuminated during specific actions. At all other times, the LED screen will be off and appear black. This is intentional and helps reduce power usage. There is no setting to adjust LED brightness or keep the display on continuously.

At any time, you can briefly tap the blue button to wake the LED display.
Important: Do not press and hold the blue button unless you intend to operate the shutoff valve, as this may turn your water off.

When the LED will illuminate

• Power cycle
  The LED displays a boot-up animation while the device is starting

• Factory reset
  The LED shows a reset animation
  Do not perform a factory reset unless instructed by Phyn Customer Support

• Pairing mode
  Blue bars extend from the center of the screen outward to both sides

• Blue button long press – close valve
  Pressing and holding the blue button closes the shutoff valve

• Blue button long press – open valve
  Pressing and holding the blue button opens the shutoff valve

• Shutoff valve closed
  A red diagonal line next to a dark blue section of the screen indicates the water is shut off

• Shutoff valve partially open or closed
  A pink diagonal line flashing in the center of the screen on a blue background indicates the valve is not fully open or fully closed and water is partially on

If the LED is off during normal operation, this is expected behavior and does not indicate a problem with your Phyn Plus.
