The LED of the Phyn Plus is illuminated only during certain actions. At all other times the LED display will have no illumination and appear black in color. This is by design to save electricity. There is no way to adjust LED illumination settings.
At any time you can Tap the blue button and the LED display will illuminate briefly. NOTE: Do NOT depress the blue button or you may turn off the Shutoff Valve and turn off water to your home.
Here is a list of actions:
- Power Cycle - The LED screen will display a boot-up display while the device is booting up
- Factory Reset process - Do NOT factory reset the Phyn Plus unless notified to do so by Customer Support - Factory Reset
- Pairing Mode - Blue bars will emanate from the center going out to both sides of the screen
- Blue Button long press - Close the Shutoff Valve
- Blue Button long press - Open the Shutoff Valve
- Shutoff Valve Closed - A red Diagonal line adjacent to a dark blue portion of the screen indicates that the blue button press has shut off the Shutoff valve.
- Shutoff Valve Partially Open or Closed - A pink Diagonal line flashing in and out in the middle of the screen on a flowing blue background indicates that your Shutoff Valve is either not completely open or not completely closed. - Water is Partially On
